MIT Museum Store Roundtable: Rethinking Retail for a Tech-Forward Cambridge
Sep 3, 2026, 5:30 PM - 6:30 PM EDT
at Octave Room

Join us for a community roundtable hosted with the MIT Museum Store as they explore new directions for their retail offerings. We're bringing together neighbors, makers, and MIT-connected innovators to brainstorm product ideas that go beyond the expected -- think items rooted in MIT's research, history, and hacking culture, not another logo tee. Whether you have a concept to pitch, a product already in the works, or just love thinking about what makes Cambridge's retail scene distinct, we want your voice in the room.

This session is especially for local makers, small-batch producers, and anyone with ties to MIT's inventive traditions who might have a lead on a product, or the seed of one, that captures the spirit of the Institute and Kendall Square. If you haven't checked out the MIT Museum Store yet, head to 314 Main Street, Cambridge, MA 02142. We're looking forward to brainstorming with you!
