The backbone of Venture Café – come meet the community and make connections with all different kinds of innovators. How will you make your serendipitous moment come true?
ChileMass is a Boston-based non-profit organization that fosters innovation between Chile and Massachusetts.
Chile Night opens with a welcome from ChileMass, introducing its work and the Chilean innovation ecosystem. The Ambassador of Chile to the United States will then offer welcome remarks, setting the tone for an evening focused on collaboration between Chile and the U.S. Expect a short, focused start before the expert panel and startup pitches!
Join a conversation on how artificial intelligence and robotics are reshaping innovation, and where Chile and the United States can build something together. Sadid Hasan, AI Lead at Microsoft in Cambridge, and Diego Pinochet, a design and computation expert with a PhD from MIT, will share their perspectives on where these technologies are heading. Javiera Araneda, Executive Director of Start-Up Chile (CORFO), will moderate and offer her view of the Chilean startup ecosystem. Come with questions about the opportunities ahead for founders, researchers, and companies on both sides of the border.
Nine finalists from ChileMass Emprende take the stage to pitch their startups in quick, focused presentations. Each founder will share the problem they are solving, the team behind it, and where they are headed next, giving you a direct look at the Chilean startup pipeline. It is a useful evening for investors, operators, and anyone scouting early-stage ventures.
Close the evening in the Venture Café space with open networking, live music, and Chilean food and drinks. It is a relaxed chance to continue conversations that started during the panel and pitches, meet founders and innovators from both Chile and the U.S., and enjoy a taste of Chilean culture. Bring your business cards, your questions, and your curiosity, and stay as long as the conversations keep going.
